Choosing the right machine

Which machine should I choose for single-colour PVC, TPR or TPU soles?

For single-colour soles, Technocrat offers the TECHNICA-100, TECHNICA-2 and TECHNICA-SL ranges. The TECHNICA-100 suits heavy and EVA outer soles with high clamping tonnage; the TECHNICA-2 is a high-production extrusion workhorse (over 900 sold); the TECHNICA-SL adds a sliding plate for welt and insert work. All run PVC, TPR and TPU. Share your sole type and target output and we'll match the right model.

What machine makes two-colour soles?

The TM-100 is a static two-colour sole moulding machine for PVC, TPR and TPU — low-waste, single-operator, with easy colour and size management. For screw-piston two-colour work with HMI-controlled flow and pressure, the TECHDUAL is the choice. Both run single- or double-station.

Do you make a triple-colour sole machine?

Yes — the TC-100 is India's first triple-colour sole moulding machine. It produces premium multi-colour soles at roughly one-third the power consumption of a rotary machine, with a single operator and very low material wastage.

Which machine is best for EVA soles and Crocs-style footwear?

For EVA injection and croc-style footwear, the TECHEVA is engineered specifically for EVA soles and clogs at production scale. For EVA phylon pressing, the EVA-HC (hot & cold rotary) and TLEHC (linear hot & cold) deliver high-quality phylon; the TP-200 is a compact single/double-colour EVA foaming press. The right pick depends on whether you need injection or press moulding and your volume.

What is the difference between EVA hot & cold and EVA injection?

EVA hot & cold (EVA-HC / TLEHC) presses expanded EVA in heated then cooled moulds for phylon midsoles and slippers. EVA injection (TECHEVA) injects EVA directly into moulds — better suited to croc-style footwear and one-piece EVA soles. Hot & cold favours phylon quality; injection favours speed and complex one-piece parts.

What machine makes air-blown or PVC foam soles for slippers and sandals?

The TECHROT-20 and TECHROT-24 are fully-automatic rotary air-blowing injection machines for PVC foaming and air-blown soles — ideal for shoes, slippers and sandals. Available with servo motor for up to 30% electricity saving and 70%+ floor-space saving versus running two separate machines.

Which machine makes gumboots and rain boots?

The TGB is a fully-automatic PVC/TPE gumboot and rain boot machine, producing one- or two-colour boots with servo motors (up to 40% lower electricity), HMI touchscreen control and an automatic mould-handling arm. Available in 12, 14 and 16 station configurations.

What machine makes memory-foam insoles?

The TIP memory-foam insole machine is a double-mould hot press available in 3-station (TIP-3) and 6-station (TIP-6) versions, producing up to 750 and 1,500 pairs per hour respectively, with uniform cartridge heating and low power draw.

What is a welt or insert sole machine?

Welt and insert machines (TECHRO, TECHROEJ, TECHRO-DLX, TECHNICA-SL) use sliding and rotational plates plus a book-winding mechanism to place welts, inserts and veneers into the sole during moulding — used for dress and formal footwear soles. TECHROEJ adds bottom ejectors for automatic part removal.

What is a PU pouring machine used for?

The TCPU1-2A2B is a fully-automatic four-tank PU pouring system with robot arm, raw-material oven, chiller and colouring machine — for single- or double-density polyurethane soles, expandable from 40 up to 120 stations.

Do you make a rubber sole press?

Yes — the TECHRUB-6 is a fully-automatic multi-station rubber sole press with heavy-tonnage hydraulic clamping (160 tons), a 6-station / 12-mould layout and an auto slide and open-close mould cycle. It's also available for double-colour soles.

Do you make shoe-last machines?

Yes — the TECHLAST is a high-production shoe-last moulding machine with superior plasticizing, PLC control and AC drives that tune screw speed to the material.

General & company questions

How do I choose between TPR, PVC and TPU for my soles?

PVC is economical and widely used for everyday footwear; TPR offers better flexibility and grip; TPU is the most durable and abrasion-resistant, used for premium and sports soles. Most Technocrat sole machines run all three, so you can switch materials on the same machine as your product mix changes. Tell us your footwear segment and we'll advise the material and machine.

How much does it cost to start footwear sole manufacturing in India?

Startup cost depends on the sole type, output target and how many stations you run. A single-station single-colour line is the most accessible entry point; rotary and multi-colour lines scale up from there. Rather than quote a figure here, we map your target output and material to the right machine and give you a clear, itemised quotation — message us with your plan and we'll work it out with you.

What power connection does a sole moulding machine need?

It depends on the model and station count — connected loads range from around 10 kW on a single-station injection machine to 60+ kW on large rotary lines. Many of our machines are engineered to run efficiently on limited power; in several cases we've adapted machines and fitted VFD drives so customers could run multiple machines on a modest existing connection. Share your available load and we'll advise what fits.

Can one machine run more than one sole material?

Yes. Most Technocrat sole machines run PVC, TPR and TPU on the same machine, so you can change material as your product range changes without buying a separate machine. EVA and rubber lines are material-specific by design.

How many pairs per hour can your machines produce?

Output varies by machine and station count — from around 20-70 pairs/hour on a single-station machine to 130-180 pairs/hour on rotary air-blowing lines, and up to 1,500 pairs/hour on a 6-station insole press. Each machine page lists its exact production capacity.

Do your machines have power-saving drives?

Many models are equipped with, or available with, power-saving frequency (VFD) drives, and several rotary machines offer servo-motor options that cut electricity use by up to 30-40%. Power efficiency is a core part of how our machines are engineered.

Does Technocrat provide after-sales support and spare parts?

Yes. We provide exceptional after-sales support, operator training and maintenance, and we keep spare parts available for fast dispatch so your line stays running. Support is a core part of the Technocrat relationship, not an add-on.

Do you export machines outside India?

Yes. We supply manufacturers internationally, with English-language documentation and support, and machines proven across 650+ Indian factories now serving buyers abroad. Tell us your country and requirement and we'll advise on logistics and installation.

What warranty comes with the machines?

Our machines carry a warranty and are backed by ongoing after-sales support, spare-parts availability and service. Exact warranty terms are confirmed on your quotation.

Do you provide installation and operator training?

Yes. We handle machine and electrical installation and train your operators, and in many cases we also help connect new manufacturers to trained labour and raw-material suppliers to get the line productive quickly.

Is Technocrat an ISO-certified manufacturer?

Yes — Technocrat Mouldings Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. Every machine passes material verification, performance checks and a documented dispatch checklist before it ships.

How experienced is Technocrat and how many machines have you delivered?

Technocrat has been manufacturing footwear sole machinery since 1992 — over three decades. We've delivered 1,650+ machines to 650+ satisfied factories across India and beyond, and are recognised as India's largest footwear sole machinery manufacturer with the widest machine range.
