India's pioneer in footwear machinery — engineering soles since 1992.
Technocrat Mouldings Pvt. Ltd.built India's first footwear sole moulding machine in 1992 — and we have been iterating on the craft ever since. Three decades later, every machine we ship is the version that finally solved every problem the previous version had.
Today, 1,650+ Technocrat machines run across 650+ factories in India, producing soles for home-grown brands and international labels alike. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, with service engineers across the country and spare parts on the shelf at our Bahadurgarh works — not on a ship somewhere out at sea.
Three decades of industry firsts.
From India's first single-colour TPR machine in 1992 to the country's first EVA hot & cold press in 2024 — every machine we ship is the version that finally solved every problem the previous version had.
Single-Colour TPR / TPU Sole Moulding Machine
The first machine that launched Technocrat — and made us the first in India.
Welt Insert Book Winding Machine
Industry-first welt insert with book winding mechanism — opened up new sole categories for Indian manufacturers.
Double-Colour TPR Sole Machine
Static-type double-colour TPR machine — efficient, low-waste, single-operator.
Shoe Last Moulding Machine
High-production shoe last manufacturing with superior plasticizing capacity — first of its kind in India.
Insole Press Machine — Memory Foam
Memory foam insole press with cartridge heating and double-mould design.
Triple-Colour Sole Making Machine
India's first triple-colour sole machine — ⅓ the power of rotary, single operator, very low waste.
EVA Hot & Cold Machine
Dual-function hot & cold rotary press for high-quality EVA phylon and EVA soles at mass production scale.
Why Technocrat
Engineered for Indian factory realities.
Three decades of refining machines for the way Indian factories actually work — not the way a brochure says they should.
India's first, since 1992
We pioneered footwear sole moulding machinery in India. Three decades of iteration mean every machine we ship is the version that finally solved every problem the previous version had.
ISO 9001:2015 certified
Audited manufacturing standards from raw material inspection through final QC. The certification you can verify. The consistency you can measure on your factory floor.
24-hour service response
Service engineers across India. Spare parts on the shelf at Bahadurgarh, not on a ship from China. When your production line stops, ours starts moving toward you.
Custom mould support
Your sole design, our mould engineering. From first sample through production scale, we own the moulding process so you can focus on selling the soles, not troubleshooting the equipment.
Quality
Quality & Certifications
Technocrat is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, and that discipline runs through every stage of manufacturing — from the raw material we accept to the finished machine that rolls out of our Bahadurgarh works.
Our machines are built in a state-of-the-art facility where advanced machinery and automation hold precision and consistency across efficient production lines. It lets us engineer at scale without giving up the tolerances a moulding machine lives or dies by — with innovation built into every step of the process.
Three quality gates
- Material verification & precision testing — incoming materials and machined parts are checked against specification before assembly begins.
- Performance & functionality checks — every machine is run and tested for output, cycle and safe operation.
- Final validation before dispatch — a full functional validation confirms the machine meets its specification end to end.
Signed off before dispatch
No machine leaves the works on trust alone. Every unit is cleared against a documented dispatch checklist, with each point inspected and signed off before it ships — among them:
- Frame welding integrity
- Tie-rod & chuck-nut tightness
- Screw–barrel alignment
- Pipe connections
- Valve block
- High-pressure pump & cylinder
- Leakage checks
- Mould alignment
- Machine-number punch
- Toolkit & spares
Every one of these checks answers the same question: will this machine run right from the first shift and keep running? That is what our quality process is built to guarantee — reliability engineered in at each stage, not left to chance.

Founder
Founder's Story
My story with Technocrat begins with my father. In 1992, Mr. Mohinder Kumar Banga was running a business recycling PVC into granules. On a visit to a client's factory he watched an imported Italian sole-moulding machine at work — a remarkable piece of engineering, but one only a handful of Indian factories could ever reach. Where others saw a costly import, he saw an opportunity: to build that same capability here in India and put it within reach of far more Indian manufacturers.
He had no technical background. What he had was persistence. After two years of relentless trial and error he built a machine that worked — and one by one, small factories across India began to grow on the strength of a machine made in their own country.
I grew up watching him work tirelessly, refusing to give up on an idea most people thought was beyond him. That example shaped me. I studied Mechanical Engineering and, in 2002, joined the family business. Back then we made only a handful of machines a year, and the larger factories still looked to imported, high-tech equipment as the serious choice.
For a while, our machines were seen as the home-grown option. My ambition was far bigger: to make Technocrat the best in India in footwear machinery — to build machines that were not merely on par with imports, but better engineered and more advanced than them. Not an alternative to look past, but the machine a factory would choose on merit.
That ambition sat squarely within the spirit of Make in India. I went deep into machine design, hydraulics and electrical systems, and made continuous learning, research and improvement a permanent part of how we work. The road took countless trials and no shortage of setbacks — what carried us through was a clear vision of excellence and a real sense of national pride in proving what Indian engineering could do.
Today Technocrat is a leader in footwear sole machinery. We pioneered advanced single-, double- and triple-colour sole and insole machines, along with EVA hot & cold press machines, and set benchmarks the industry now measures itself against.
More than anything, I am proud of the trust behind those machines: 650+ satisfied clients and 1,650+ machines delivered. Several of them now run up to 80 stations of Technocrat machines under a single roof — the clearest proof I know of reliability, performance, and a partnership that lasts.
